The rules of ioutbid.lol: what a spot is, how bidding works, and what you agree to when you pay.

Last updated: 2026-08-27

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ioutbid.lol (the "Service"). By placing a bid or using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service Is

ioutbid.lol sells sponsored placement: a spot on the iPhone-style home screen displayed on this website. When you pay, your website's favicon is shown as an app icon linking to your site. That display — not any ranking outcome — is the product.

2. How Bidding Works

  1. Ranking is live and market-driven. Spots are ordered by the total amount paid per domain, highest first. The top four totals occupy the dock. Ties are broken by whoever reached that total first.
  2. You can be outbid at any time. Anyone may pay to raise another domain's total above yours, which changes your position. A change in position — including moving off the first screen or out of the dock — is a normal outcome of the auction mechanic, not a failure of the Service.
  3. Bids on the same domain stack. Every payment for a domain adds to that domain's running total. Anyone may bid on any domain.
  4. Placement is immediate. Your icon appears as soon as your payment is confirmed. At that moment the Service is fully delivered.

3. Payments

All payments are one-time and processed by a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your card details. Prices are in USD. The minimum bid is $1. All payments are final and non-refundable — see the Refund Policy for the narrow exceptions.

4. Content Rules

You may only submit websites you are authorized to promote. We refuse or remove, without compensation, placements that link to content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, malicious (malware, phishing), adult, or that we reasonably consider harmful to the Service or its visitors. We may also remove a placement if required by a payment processor, law, or court order.

5. Favicons and Display

Icons are fetched automatically from public favicon services based on your domain. We do not guarantee how your favicon renders, and we are not responsible for a missing or low-quality favicon — serving a proper favicon on your own site is your responsibility.

6. No Guarantees

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any amount of traffic, clicks, attention, or commercial outcome from a placement, nor uninterrupted availability of the site. Displayed statistics (visitors, clicks) are best-effort estimates.

7. Changes to the Service

We may change the mechanics, pricing floor, layout, or availability of the Service at any time. Changes apply prospectively and do not entitle prior bids to refunds.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Contact

Questions about these Terms: [email protected]. If you have any issue with a payment, contact us before disputing the charge — most issues can be resolved within one business day.
