Privacy Policy
What ioutbid.lol collects (very little), how it is used, and the third parties involved.
Last updated: 2026-08-27
ioutbid.lol is built to work without accounts and collects as little data as possible. This policy describes what we do collect and why.
What We Collect
- The website URL you submit with a bid, and the amounts paid for it. This is the product itself: the domain, its favicon, and its paid total are displayed publicly on the home screen.
- Payment records. Payments are processed entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive a payment confirmation and a session reference — we never see or store your card number. Any receipt email is handled by the processor.
- Anonymous visit statistics. To show the visitor counter we count visits using a one-way hash of your IP address and browser signature. The raw IP is not stored, and the hash cannot be reversed into it.
- Outbound click counts. When you click a placed icon we increment a counter for that domain. The count is stored per domain only — no per-visitor click history exists.
What We Don't Do
- No accounts, no passwords, no profiles.
- No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no fingerprinting beyond the anonymous counters above.
- We never sell or share visitor data.
Cookies
The site sets only functional cookies (such as a language preference). No tracking cookies are used.
Third Parties
- Stripe processes payments under its own privacy policy.
- A public favicon service (favicon.im) serves the icons displayed on the phone; your browser requests icons directly from it.
- Our hosting provider processes requests to serve the site.
Data Retention
Bid records (domain, amounts, timestamps) are retained indefinitely — they are the public leaderboard. Anonymous counters are retained as aggregate numbers.
Your Rights
To have a placement or its records removed, or for any privacy request, email [email protected]. We respond within a reasonable time and comply with applicable data-protection law.
